All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
There is work to be done and things to be learned. We are going to try to get the old look back - or something close to it. We also know there are bugs. A thread will be started to report bugs and then we can pass those onto the host.
Thank you for all the patience and support with this - hopefully this will greatly reduce the crashes and other site issues we have had lately.

Well, the most important stat was in favor of the Bills, regardless of those other stats. With less than five minutes left, Buffalo was up by two scores.

I agree. We were dominated. A win tonight would have been fool's gold.
Also, I was underwhelmed by Belicheck tonight. I think he brought a very vanilla approach. Must have figured they'd still blow us out without much effort. I expect a much stronger effort from the Pats in Buffalo.

Did YOU expect this team to stick with these guys, or were you expecting a double digit loss?
I expected the Bills to lose by 13-19 points (check the poll on the board from earlier in the week). This game actually made me think that this team could be competitive this year.

At least enough to get us to 7-9...
(Where have I seen those numbers before????)
Teams that are better than 7-9 win this game.
I would have rather us been blown out and surprised along the way if we played well later on this season. But like we hung with the Cowboys 2 years ago, we still were 7-9.

I know one thing, this team will not last long with these stats. 24 catches between Welker and Moss. They should have just kept hitting those underneath passes all gAme and they would have led us earlier in the game.
There is no way in hell that we are going to allow other teams to average 15 minutes or more per game with almost double the plays per game on offense and expect to keep games close. We don't have the same defense that we did in the super bowl days to keep up this pace. Who is our Bruce Smith, Daryl Talley, Biscuit, etc. We're f'e dif we don't sprinkle in some huddle plays during the games.

The important thing to remember is the penalties that essentially killed at least two drives.
Jackson had several big plays called back because of penalties. As the season goes on, those will decrease which will extend drives, which will keep the defense off the field.
This game could have been really really ugly. It wasn't. To say that the Bills were dominated, is sensationalism at its best. The O-Line beat up the Patriots all night long. They got beat on 5 and 6 man standing rushes at the end of the game. Up until then, they pushing them around. Yes, I know that is when it counts. But for the last 10 years, we as fans have not seen that.
Against lesser QB's, this is a win. Brady is an all time great, he's tough to beat. Give him an inch and he finds a way to win.
