I gave you guys a B simply based on the fact that you found a way to lose. Up till then it was an A

B - excellent right up until the final 3 minutes. 57 minutes of the best football a Bills team has played in almost a decade, followed by 3 minutes of football that would embarrass a junior high team. Definite room for improvement, but an encouraging start to the season.

I'm not encouraged in the slightest. This is the same sort of game-losing stupidity that has plagued this team during the Levy-Jauron era. This is the 4th season in a row of this crap.

You could have been 'encouraged' after the close, heartbreaking loss on Monday Night Football to the Cowboys. How well have the Bills done since then?

In this league, with salary caps and parity, the talent difference between a championship team and one that goes to the lockers after the regular season is a small one.

The true difference between playoff caliber teams, and a team like the Bills, is that the coaches manage the champion teams so that those 3 minutes of embarrassing junior high style play don't happen.

Can't be any better than a C IMO.

I didn't see the entire game because of bowling, but what I did see/hear...

Couldn't stop Welker/Moss on those short crossing patterns
Still didn't try to throw the ball deep at all
Good game plans get the ball in the hands of their best players
A loss is a loss is a loss...

The best they should receive is a "C" and I'm not sure they deserve that. Poor coaching, poor defense and no adjustments did us in...AGAIN! Just because we held the lead for most of the game, does not mean that we played better then the Pats.

I honestly don't understand how last night was an encouraging performance.

C

Some great efforts by many on our roster.

Lose one grade for the horrid Cover 2 in crunchtime.

Lose another grade by our coach who plays not to lose and is satisfied with moral victories.

It's the reason many of us have been conditioned to accept mediocrity as a psoitive, when viewing this team.
