    But this season, safety to face tough competition for 6th defensive back spot
    Former Ravens cornerback James Trapp is now with the Jacksonville Jaguars, yet his words still resonate through the mind of safety Chad Williams.
    "I learned from James last year that third down is the biggest down," Williams said. "You want to get off the field. You cherish third down like it's the last play of the game. You have to do all you can to get off the field."

    But first, Williams continues to do what he can to get back on the field in those situations as the dime (sixth defensive) back. A sixth-round draft pick last season, Williams became a defensive playmaker after making game-altering plays in each of the Ravens' final three wins.
