All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

38 minutes vs. 22 minutes, that doesn't sound like bending.
Re: 38 minutes vs. 22 minutes, that doesn't sound like bending.
100% agree.
Playing bend but don't break D while using a hurry up is a terrible idea. Those 2 do NOT mix. That D is very prone to long sustained drives that tire out the players, and the O is not going to be out there very long either. Our D will be completely gassed in every 4th quarter this way.
We have to have to gamble more on D and go for more turnovers and 3 and outs, even if it means giving up some big plays now and then.
If they are gonna score, they need to make it quick, or to shut ti down and get off the field. this long drives will kill our D all year if not.

Re: 38 minutes vs. 22 minutes, that doesn't sound like bending.
I hate Perry D's. The 10 yard cushion, let the opposing O Dink and Dunk down the fileld, and then depend on the red zone D to keep the them out of the end zone and hold'em to 3 is pathetic
We've seen it every year, and there is no way this team can make it ot the playoffs and expect to compete agianst real playoff teams with this D
I was amazed at how I was rippe dfor pointing this out last year, and th eyear before.
Seriously how can this team draft and develope 100 DBs every season and yet still give Randy Moss, a 10 yard cushion over the middle

You summed it up here. We keep drafting guys to defend passes instead of bringing people in that can force the QB to throw under duress. If you give the worst QB in the league time to throw he always has the advantage.
When was the last time we used one of these guys on a blitz?
Re: 38 minutes vs. 22 minutes, that doesn't sound like bending.
I think the t.o.p. does not accurately portray the way our offense played. We had 4 dropped passes on 3rd downs.....If two of those guys catch those balls we probably have at least another 4-5 minutes of t.o.p. Probably more than that....even though my soul is crushed right now, i'm optimistic.

Well, the Bills were 4th in the league for lowest TD percentage allowed in the red zone.
Who thought that the Pats would only have one TD through 3 quarters? Not me.
What this team needs is to learn how to make plays to close a game on defense.

Didn't we draft a pass rush specialist in the first round this year?
Re: 38 minutes vs. 22 minutes, that doesn't sound like bending.
corner actually did run a corner blitz later in the game but brady saw it and got rid of the ball.
We got pressure the first half because brady was no doing a 3 drop and throw. They made adjustments in the 2nd half that got the ball out faster, its hard to get pressure when u 3 step and throw.
Our Linebackers were TERRIBLE and lost the game, once poz went out brady just destroyed our LB's

We also had 8 or so Offensive penalties I do believe
all of those were drive stalling
fix that and our O would have closed that and we might have padded our lead more...
sloppy penalities are direct coorelation to an unprepared team and that leads us back to Jauwrong

You nailed it. Our 1st half success pressuring Brady was met by adjustments from a superior coaching staff.
