what would you guys think of this strategy?

Late in the game the Pats ran a lot of 5wr formations. Therefore why not substitute some defensive backs or safeties to replace the linebacker positions. Brady was picking our linebackers apart so it seems logical to put a quicker athlete to match up with their speedy wrs. Hell even their tes were burning our linebackers on some occasions. I understand that this causes a weakness in regards to the Bills run support but there was no way they would've kept running draw play after draw play.

Buffalo did this the problem is Byrd doesn't look all that great. He seems to have his head spinning. He was the third safety when Watson scored the second time, where was he? In front of Ellison, rookie mistake, but I would have liked Whitner in the middle of the field over Byrd.
