I mean the rule in general should be changed. I'm glad they lost. Someone will get burned calling a T.O and the kicker will miss.

I was hoping Tynes missed it when Wade did that TO. So then on his second try, he nails it....

I just won 400 on a 5 team parlay.

I took moneyline on 5 dogs i liked in a round robin... went 5/5

took home 387.

I had the Jets, Oakland, Zona, Baltimore and the Giants...

I think this game nearly caused a heart attack. the Time out on the kick effing killed me too.

i'm up about 450 on the season. http://www.billsaddiction.com/images/smilies/alcoholic.gif

Romo was brutal with turnovers. Imagine Romo was the QB here in buff, the way ppl murder Trent.

Yeah, take this junk out of the game. I hate watching that happen. They should just implement a rule that the opposing team can't call a timeout on a field goal opportunity with less than like 10 seconds on the playclock.

I'm fine with it...can't imagine a team only having 10 players on the field at such a crucial moment and being hand-cuffed by a stupid rule change and not being able to adjust (for an example)

Can't imagine any situation where your field goal block unit would be out of place with 10 or 5 seconds left on the playclock.

A day after I posted that idea Bill Placshke won on around the horn and used his face time to say the exact same thing. No timeouts with 10 or 5 seconds left on the playclock.

Why can't you imagine it?

It happens on "regular" plays enough.

I don't like it, either. But not allowing a defense to call time out before the snap on any down gives them a competitive disadvantage. I've seen plenty of times where a FG unit has to "rush" onto the field to get a game-winning FG off before time expires because they have no timeouts left. The defense should not be "forced" to just let that happen if they are not in position, whether it is their own fault or not.

Plus, if that rule was passed, that doesn't mean the FG team (offense) HAS to kick the FG. What if the defense really did have only 10 players, you didn't allow them to call a time out, and the offense just faked it for a TD?

That would be BS. You can't put a team in that position.
