All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
There is work to be done and things to be learned. We are going to try to get the old look back - or something close to it. We also know there are bugs. A thread will be started to report bugs and then we can pass those onto the host.
Thank you for all the patience and support with this - hopefully this will greatly reduce the crashes and other site issues we have had lately.
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

we also can't tire out our D by going no huddle. Brees can burn them even if our D is fresh and rested.
We gotta get some good licks on him too. There is no way we can afford to let Brees sit in the pocket all day, our front 4 needs to get consistent pressure.
agreed. both games now, our defense has been on the field a lot in the first half. Granted both times it was because they picked off the ball and ran for a TD and had to come back out.
Leodis out, Poz out... We have a lot of youth back there on D. Hopefully we have our RB running towards another 165 day. We also need to score TD. I think out TD production looks like it's up compared to last years full season effort. but it could be better. If the bills scored one more TD in the first half instead of those fieldgoals/fumble...that game was over.
It was good enough to get by the bucs, but it won't be enough to get by the saints.
Our defense has been on the field a lot because they can't get off it. Please don't break the offense just to fix the defense.
it's called adjusting you gameplan to fit the opponent. The D may not have stopped teams all the time (could it be they're tired too?) but the O hasn't exactly been scoring at will either.
they should huddle up more so then not, but then they should unpredicatably switch gears back to the no huddle an do so with some urgency to keep NO from making any changes.
No reason to fully abandon it, the O is hitting some strides.
I still don't see how our version of the no huddle - slow, deliberate, no element of surprise - helps us in any appreciable way.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

The Bills scrap the no huddle and it's going to be a bigger blowout than it probably will already be. It's the defense's job to stop NO's offense, not the offense. Adjust your gameplan, not scrap it and start something the team hasn't done since last year.
Our D should be the best conditioned D in the league. Not only are they smaller and faster than most but practiced exclusively against the no all year. It's not an excuse.
If something was going to be tried like this, don't you think it would have been done against NE?
I like Maybin at OLB. He adds an extra dimension and keeps the double team off Schobel.
Serisously, Maybin, Schoble, Kelsay and Stroud are a combination to be reckoned with. Combined they have monstrous potential and keep opposing offenses honest. No more double teams on our dlinneman. Someone is going to bust loose.

Have you missed the shots of the DL sucking wind and taking oxygen the past two games?
It also helps Trent. He is seeing the defense better and changing plays at the line since defenses are having trouble disguising coverages. It's only slow and deliberate if you're counting the time after Trent comes to the line. By then it's already done it's job.

Yep. Not being able to change personnel means they get tired quicker if they are not in great shape AND they cannot swap personnel - and maybe that's the more important one as they may get stuck w/personnel on the field that may favor a matchup that AVP may want to exploit.
