with the exception of the Center position, you can combine all the starts of the starters and you won't have 16 games. (a full NFL season) these guys are going to have to grow up in a hurry.

It's official. Butler is done! Torn ACL or some kind of knee injury that requires surgery.

What a shame too. He was off to a good start and made some very nice blocks for the running game. :(

not to be mean, cause i dont mean it that way...but did we not expect butler to get hurt? He has been hurt every year. Tough good player, but he is the definition of injury prone, although this is something that just happens. Scott played well coming from the bench.

Give Jonathan Scott a chance and bring in another backup (Kwame Harris). It might even be a good idea to place another OT on the PS since they will likely be pulling Stupar off. Maybe Cornelius Lewis. Here's a tidbit I found on him. On the PS, there's be alot less pressure on him and perhaps he could develop:

Cornelius Lewis, OT Tennessee State 6-4, 330
Huge, on bulk alone he’ll get a long look after an ultra-productive career at the lower level. The former Florida State Seminole dominated at Tennessee State showing good athleticism and tremendous strength. Able to play either tackle or guard spot, he should find a job somewhere. However, there’s a question about whether or not he’ll wilt under the pressure and toughness of being an NFL caliber lineman. If he has the right attitude and is willing to get tough, he could be a steal.

sorry about this thread.

I had earlier put up a source said Brad Butler is done, but was asked by the source to not put the info out until a certain time. SO I had to edit it
