All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
yeah that surprised me. Buggs didn't do anything spectacular but he certainly wasn't a liability either, and they kept the Bucs' running game in check.
Two good points here... Buggs and Scott both pulled their weight.
But can someone please tell the Bills announcer that it's Bryan Scott, not Byron Scott? It's probably the 4th time over the past 2 years I've heard "Byron" Scott.

My first name in real life is also Bryan, and people screw it up all the time- I get Brian, Bryant, Byron, you name it.
Is it possible that we upgraded on both sides of the line simply with a little coaching and different philosophy? Our D-line is playing much better under the new line coach and a relatively healthy Schobel back. Our O-line is actually getting good running numbers thanks to the new philosophy of athletic and physical (and a little dirty?) linemen.

Scott seems to be a fairly athletic guy with upside at tackle. I don't think the Bills will necessarily suffer all that much with Scott in for Butler. This might just be the least experienced offensive line of all time, however. They will all need to keep their heads screwed on straight and Sean Kugler is going to have to do the coaching job of a lifetime.
I've made up my mind. Don't confuse me with the facts.
I'm the most reasonable poster here. If you don't agree, I'll be forced to have a hissy fit.

It WAS noticable however when Poz came out of the New England game, like Buggs wasn't prepared or something.
Their lines clearly sucked donkey balls, we should've gotten more sacks then what we did. I guess Gaines Adams is a decent football player, but nobody else on their d-line scares me.
Guys, the Bucs gave us 10 different ways to win that game.
When Scott came in he was getting alot of help but he did fill in well.
If the Bills are not filling Butler's position outside the current roster than they really are asking for trouble.
I'm not so sure about that, with TO and Lee, teams haven't been blitzing as much as they have in the past. Trent seems to be doing a great job of making them pay on blitz plays, plus Freddy has been having monster games as a result as well. I think we could be fine, oddly enough. Who would of thunk that Bell and Scott would be our starting tackles in the offseason?
