Bills do sign Meredith. and never considered Walker or McIntosh

    First, link to article. LINK

Second: The Bills were not satisfied with Runyan's workout, didn't think McCintosh was an upgrade, and never even considered bringing Langston Walker back.

Meredith will be the 8th OL and not dress on game days barring injury. Chambers will now back up both OT first off the bench.

And a Bills source has denied the team is trying to trade Parrish.

(More on all of that later on today)

that is something none of us we're privied to was Runyans workout

    Don't know much about McIntosh

If keeping Parrish means he's our 4th WR then for god sakes trade him for something

The Eagles are having their own offensive line issues and they are not even considering adding Runyan. Why should we?

Translation: Runyan may not have been able to be athletic enough at this point for an up-tempo, no-huddle offense. He probably also wanted starter money and to be guaranteed the RT spot. Between all three, the Bills felt they were better off to see if Scott can play, Chambers step in if need be, and take this project rookie RT.

Good move. As Galliford says, it sounds as if the Bills are comfortable with Scott playing in Butler's place. Judging by the Tampa game, it appears as if the youth of the current Bills offensive line is not a huge issue. They are playing good football. They are making a few mistakes, but it doesn't seem to be a huge factor. Meredith just continues the theme of youth and athleticism. If Kugler continues coaching as well as he appears to be doing, the Bills offensive line could turn into a great one.
I've made up my mind. Don't confuse me with the facts.

im sure the bills kept in the back of their mind that Butler is hurt every year when they kept Scott and Chambers around

That is the popular consensus amongst Bills fan

He was looking like a solid Redzone threat last year

Meredith is a good signing. I think this guy will develop into a good RT.

If Meredith couldn't beat out the pylons who now start at T for the Packers, this guy isn't anything.

I will have a story about Meredith in a hour or two; I interviewed a pair of Green Bay Packers beat writers, and am gathering more quotes and info right now.

Since the line seems to be a good match for the type of O we are running I am going to stay quiet and see what this week brings.

How did we sign a guy off a practice sqaud without any compensation? How does that work. I'm asking as I don't know.

Meredith is an interesting pickup. I know some people on various boards who wanted him as an OT in the draft. I'd like to see how well he sticks.
