just spoke to someone with Green Bay, and am told that the Meredith signing has NOT happened yet.

I'm told the Packers still have the option of promoting him to their 53-man roster and have not officially ruled it out yet.

He's likely to still be a Bill, but its not a done deal yet

And since it's not a secret source, the person I communicated with was Bill Huber, the Packers beat writer for SCout.com

He told me the signing has not happened yet

Bills signed OT Jamon Meredith from the Packers practice squad.
Meredith was a fifth-round pick out of South Carolina this past April. He was expected to be Chad Clifton's eventual replacement. Now he'll provide insurance for the Bills, who lost right tackle Brad Butler for the season.

I don't know much about Meredith anyone have a draft bio of the guy?

Im working up a story on him right now.

Seems to have a lot of talent, and some character issues

I like going young rather than an old guy with injury issues.
