Wow, I'm surprised he was released by the Browns today. This guy has talent...he'll get picked up by some team and I think he will eventually make an impact somewhere. Of course, he just might be a dumbass and piss his opportunity to play in the NFL away!

Is Rucker a decent blocker? Or is he more like Nelson? I know he has a grand total of 2 catches for 17 YDS for his brief career so far. But he's young yet, so he may be worth a gamble.I only drink when I'm alone or with others.Comment

Rucker was an awesome prospect. I wanted him last year. I swear the Bills were going to draft him, but the Browns traded up 11 spots (3 picks ahead of the Bills) to draft him. Who does that in the 4th unless he is a good prospect and they know he will be gone?
Later in the 4th the Bills took Derek Fine.

Rucker is bum as a blocker. The denver DE had a field day attacking Browns OT, so they grabbed a blocking TE from the Jags.
Funny as it sounds, the Bill do need a blocking TE. You are talking about Bell and Scott as bookends and TE may need to help more than usual. Remember the Evans TD play? There is perfect picture somewhere all 5 O-Linemen plus Shouman and Jackson picking up 7 Bucs one-on-one in perfect positions. Shouman one-on-one hold DE adams at bay ...Comment

Rucker can't block.
Couldn't acclimate to the offense.
And couldn't stay healthy.
Easy to see why he was cut.
He may be picked up by someone because he's still young but it wouldn't surprise me if he isn't either.Comment
