This is Buffalo’s fourth of six preseason games… The Sabres finish the home slate of pre-season action tonight following a decisive 2-1 victory in Washington on Monday… Patrick Lalime played the entire 60 minutes and backstopped the Sabres to the win with 19 saves… Buffalo’s two goals came 11 seconds apart in the second period … Defenseman Chris Butler leads the team in scoring with three points (0+3). Entering play on Tuesday September 22, Butler is one of three defenseman leading his team in scoring: Johnson LAK, 4 points (2+2), Keith CHI, 2 points (0+2)…

The Sabres have six players that have played in all three pre-season games; Mike Weber, Thomas Vanek, Chris Butler, Nathan Gerbe, Tim Kennedy and Tyler Myers.

This is the first of two meetings with the Toronto Maple Leafs this pre-season; Buffalo will close the exhibition schedule on Sunday, September 27 at the Air Canada Centre. These two teams will meet Friday, October 30 at HSBC Arena for the first of six regular season contests.

Buffalo is 10 for 10 killing penalties on the road this pre-season, 1 for 12 overall.

It is blacked out in WNY though.

I'm finding that the guide is saying that a Preseason game is on but they don't show it so I'm not sure if the game will be on or not.

Wasn't there a story about the Sabres installing new boards this year? This things are DEAD, no bounce, no liveliness, nothing, which could be bad and good.

I liked what I saw.

I really want McCormick to be a regular on the roster.
