Excellent news! Thank god. I really like Nelson in this offense as a insurance for Edwards.

nice...sounds like a lot of the worrisome questionables won't be questionable on sunday. Nelson, hangartner and Mckelvin are all definitely needed.

So Pat is your feeling by listening to Jauron that Freddy will remain the starter then.

So Pat is your feeling by listening to Jauron that Freddy will remain the starter then. its impossible to get a feeling by listen to jauron but he said this . (then i gotta go!)

we said all along we have more than 2. we love marshawn. here we are and marshawn is not here right now. I think i'll think about that after this week.

and btw, i think it was kilgore who asked why no runyan and jauron said the coaches (kugler and someone else) really liked meredith at his workout

How can that be? The armchair GMs on this board have decreed that it was b'cse Ralph is cheap...

any word how serious the back injury is or if it'll be a nagging problem throughout the year? being that he's a Center, it definitely is a concern.

runyan i get the sense is kinda done with football and wants to get a contract on his terms...especially if he isn't in philly.

We've had those guys before and they don't work. if Meredith is the right fit, then let's play him. but it'll be disappointing if runyan signs somewhere plays well, and scott and meredith can't fill in butler's spot adequately.

Good to hear that Hangman is back practicing today. Reed however is probably out. Hello Steve Johnson!

I don't know if the guy is done yet. He might have another year or tree in the tank, but I do think at 35 and coming off very delicate surgery, the team that signs him stands a good chance of getting less than what they are paying for.

I fixed it for you. Reimersma was a big oaf who had the coordination of a drunken T-rex. The guy would catch the ball then trip over his own two feet in open field.

Yeah, but he had a good number of catches and TDs. Mezelaars was not exactly a ballet dancer either.

no but Riemersma had the worst YAC ability I've ever seen. At least Metzalaars didn't trip over the numbers painted on the field.

I agree with OP, Reismersma was very overrated. He had one really good year and that year he only caught 55 balls. Metz is the last good tightend we had. I do think Nelson can be better though.
