Man it's gotta be hard. I just ran into Luke Russert at the Bills bar in DC here on that Monday night game, him and his girlfriend are the kindest, down to earth people. We always buy each other beers and talk about the Bills and his gf is a huge Sabres fan, and from Buffalo. Very cool.

Yeah it sucks for Luke, their family, and friends, but I don't know why it is headline news here in Buffalo. It must be a slow news day. 'Big Russ' did nothing for the city of Buffalo. At least, nothing more than anyone else who lives here. He's a nobody - so to speak - just like the rest of us.

We might as well list the obituary page on Buffalo Bills Zone everyday for every single person that dies in Western New York if we're going to do it for 'Big Russ'.

                        Re: Big Russ passes away

Big Russ is a local celebrity, and a much admired dad, because of Tim Jr. RIP.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?
