View Full Version : Josh Reed should sit.

Lets not rush him back when we have a perfectly capable WR in Steve Johnson. Johnson can definitely be a good number three against a patchy pass defense this week. Why rush Reed to get back when there is no need!?

I'm looking forward to seeing what Johnson can do. No matter what happens this week he is going to see time on the field, I would just like to see him this Sunday.

Anyone see eye to eye with me on this? :bad:

If he's injured, no need to put him on the field. However I wouldn't call SJ "capable" just yet.

If healthy, Reed should play. He is by far our best possession receiver. SJ will get his chance, but if he were better than Reed, he'd be the starter.

Reed will score a TD if he plays.

Josh Reed is our most reliable receiver. Johnson is a possibility at #4.

If Reed is injured he should sit. period. I know Reed is our best option at the third slot right now.

If Reed can play he plays. He is depenable, and effective.

I want Steve Johnson in there, but Parrish needs to be the odd man out for that to happen

Josh 'first down' Reed needs to play. However, if he is injured, than of course sit him.

We need a new slot reciever if nobody steps up for us this year, that is definitely a weakness for this team.

If he is healthy, if he isn't he doesn't. I would much rather have Reed than Johson.

If Reed sits and Johnson gets a chance, Reed may never see the field again.

Reed has been this teams most consistent and reliable receiver the past two seasons.

And you want him to sit?

I do. He should've been released years ago.

not only that hes like a fullback in the middle of the field when they run out of that formation. hes a wrecking ball when he goes in motion to set up a block

i realize they dont give fantasy points for that but still ...

Stevie is dressing, but dont expect to see him unless Reed gets further injured and cannot continue the game.

I like SJ, but these SJ fanboys crack me up. Like he's Jerry Rice sitting on the bench or something.

Nice to see Josh getting some announcer love.

He's a possession receiver who shouldn't drop balls and convert on 3rd downs. He does neither consistently. He doesn't get many catches/season because he can't get open. Speed isn't necessary in the slot but guile and wit are. Wayne Chrebet he is not.
