Levy's GM tenure had:
Good:
1. Fred Jackson

Bad:
1. Larry Tripllet
2. Peerless Price
3. Dick Jauron
4. Resigned Parrish
5. Nallball
6. Melvin Fowler
7. whitner on the 8 pick
8. McCargo on the trade up
9. dockery
10. walker

This isn't to rag on Levy (though the case is easy to make). I just want to know if fred jackson was worth 10+ major mistakes

You can add trading up for Poz instead of staying put and drafting Harris (jets) at LB too.. he is a complete and utter beast..

Oh well.. Win some, lose some I guess.

It's clear Marv's best days were behind him.

It was before the 2008 season. So I guess Levy extended him.

Man did Levy suck or what?!?!!?

How is Nall a failure?

He's a backup meaningless QB who never saw the field...just like most meaningless NFL backup QBs.

And yes, Marv was an EPIC FAIL of a GM.

I liked Royal, he is better than anybody we got on the roster now.
Marv's free agent signings wouldn't of been too bad if it weren't for his poor drafts.
Walker was clearly a good signing too, which he should still be on the roster now.

royal was completely useless. don't miss him at all. i think nelson looked better in the new england game than royal did at any stretch of his time here.

Marv should be ashamed of himself for the rest of his life just for hiring Jauron. I don't even know how he can sleep at night. Wilson was ******ed for hiring Marv as a GM. He is right up there as one of the worst GMs we have ever had. His drafts and FA signings were horrendous and probably set this team back another 3-4 years. He should have stayed his ass into retirement but Wilson was too senile and distrusting to hire anyone under 80 years old at the time..

What? Royal was a total waste.

Once healthy, Nelson is going to be a major upgrade.

Uh, yeah. Levy has really put us years behind. It's like everything he did was the wrong thing. We're still paying for it now. I remember these kind of threads even years ago on this or other forums and at that point way too many people where way to quick to backup Levy..... i'm glad now people starting to realize our troubles now are linked with Levy.

That's like saying Losman was better than Rob Johnson.

royal? really? we have TE's dropping passes for much much cheaper now.

nelson will be a better pick.

To the FO's defense. this draft class seems more capable. Although Byrd is a real project. he's had two 15 yard penalties for blocking out of bounds, got toasted on the first piere st thomas touchdown run and was dragged for the other touchdown run. ewww.

but maybin is seeing the field, nelson is ok, wood and levitre finally seem to be solid guys to man the front.
