Some guy just called WGR550 claiming he has a friend who works in the limosine business in Buffalo and claims Jon Gruden will be the next Head Coach of the Bills..Where is Skooby to confirm or deny this?

WTF, I'd be happy. But I got a friend that does the drive thru at Taco Bell, and they said the next head coach would be Steve Maruchi

One thing for sure, you will get some MUCH NEEDED emotion on the sidelines if he came in.

If I'm going to hire a high profile head coach with experience, it'd be Chucky.

I still think that hiring a revolutionary offensive mind like the following would be better:

Jason Garrett (Cowboys OC)

Joe Philbin (Green Bay OC)

Hue Jackson (Cincinnati Bengals OC)

Russ Grimm (OL coach/ Assistant HC in Arizona)

I like Grimm and Garrett out of that list alot.

Any chance Gruden was thinking to himself during the Monday night season opener " There is some talent on this Bills team..if I was coaching them I could take them to the playoffs"

He was so well educated on the Bills during his commentary I swear he was interviewing from the booth. He actually found plenty positive to talk about

I can't believe I'm going to reply to this spam worthy thread but...

Getting a coach like Gruden would be a fantastic move for this team. The worst thing they could do is hire a "new" HC without any experience. There are people out there like Shannahan, Holmgren, Gruden, Cowher, etc... Too many really good coaches available to take another shot at completely rebuilding.
