It's so people don't realize when he falls asleep on the sidelines.

I kind of like the look on him. Kind of looks like Jordy LaForge from Star Trek.

He doesn't want everyone to see that the lights are off upstairs.

I personally think TO was making fun of Dick Jauron during his media presser after the game..

Naw, If he was real stoned we would at least see some creativity out there... and some colorful antics on the sideline.

I only heard the press conference and just now saw it visually...gotta love TO! The man has grown up and I continue to believe he's big time positive influence in this organization.

Maybe he was embracing him. DJ has been giving those answers forever it's his way of handling the media and not getting into blows with them.....

so none of you guys wear sunglasses?I can't say I have wore sunglasses so dark while coaching an NFL game. Are you implying many NFL coaches wear those while on the sidelines?

well maybe if you had actually coached an NFL game this would be a valid argument. His sunglasses are the least of my worries.

His sunglasses are the least of my worries.Just because you didn't understand my point, doesn't mean there isn't one there. And to think, I thought my point was pretty clear. I'll rephrase.... "It isn't a big deal the DJ wears sunglasses, but it is odd that he would wear them during a game, especially when he hasn't in years past."

Also, if it is the least of your worries, why did you bother clicking on this clearly labeled thread? In fact, if you have some many worries, why are you on a message board? Or, are all your worries Buffalo Bills related?

Dang pink, I usually like your replies.

One would think they somehow help him, but how? any ideas?

They may not worry me, but they are annoying as all hell. Especially when he's still wearing them after the sun has set and the field lights are on - he looks like an idiot at that point.

perhaps its his way of answering the fans and media claims that "Dick you seem to have blinders on" So he is simply accomodating us.

Afterall you dont wont the coach to "giveaway" his hand by letting the other coach read your eyes to see what you may be thinking.

I think Jauron's appraoch of using the no huddle with a very inexperienced QB/OL and rookie OC, then run plays that throw checkdown passes to our 3rd WR and 3rd string TE all the while we have speed at WR (Owens, Evans, Parrish) this strategy will fool all the teams the shades are all part of the scheme (we will not use conventonal proven wisdom like emulating other teams formations ie wildcat, west coast, having your OC on the field instead of the booth, etc.) why do stuff that works?

Maybe Jauron knows this (afterall he is a Yale man) and just doesnt want to look us all in the eye - you all can form your own opinion.

Maybe he does feel like his mind is being read so he wears the shades, kind of like the poker tactic.

It's embarrassing.

we only make fun cause he is an easy target. he is in a high pressure/profile job where if you dont WIN you lose your job. Why havent the Bills made the playoffs since 99? Cause we have a losing culture it starts at top period.

This will not change till Ralph leaves, passes away or makes drastic changes (like fire Jauron) that is the brutal truth.

why? we've already slammed Jauwrong for being a crappy coach now we're going to rip on the guy simply because we want him to get the **** out.

I have no problem ripping on Jauwrong for anything he deserves it..... I can't stand the fact he's our HC
