Who do you guys like? This is one position, guaranteed, that we will draft next year.

Russell Okung? Trent Williams? Charles Black?

Who is the clear cut thorough bred going into the 2010 draft?

Might want to check this out. http://www.billszone.com/fanzone/showthread.php?t=175628

EE and Draftboy might have a different opinion though.

Depends on who you ask. As of now there is not a clear cut #1, Id put them;

Okung
Williams
Ciron Black
Slevish Capers
Sam Young
Charles Brown
Jason Fox
Adam Ulatoski

Note I only include seniors and my midseason lists are just now coming together.

Who do you think fits our scheme? If we're looking for a tackle who sets up well on screens and can get into the second level, who ya like, DB?

I'll admit, I've seen Charles Brown play before and was impressed, but at the same time, I haven't seen much of the other prospects to compare him to.

Okung by far because he probably the most athletic but he's also probably a top 5 pick. I also like Capers and Young four our screen. All could be 1st Round picks.

Brown and Fox are two of the most intriguing because they are athletic but have really just started to come into their own. I want to see some more before I would after either one.

Dont pay too close of attention to my rankings, its old.

The top, to me, would be Okung at this point.

Id say there are several that look real good to me.

Okung and Williams look really good.

Didn't we say that about the last draft?

It would not surprise me if we didn't draft one on day one or two.

Here's my reasons why:

1) We need much better players at defensive positions such as DE/DT and LB
2) We may be shopping for a new QB
3) We have a guy at LT that we liked so much we dumped our vet
4) We have a guy at RT that we liked so much we dumped our vet
5) We just signed Meredith, who we like a lot as a prospect at T
6) We already have a young T in Scott that we like a lot

So, with all the other needs and all of the young prospects and players that we already have, I can see that we skip this position until the later rounds.

Now, that's not to say that I wouldn't like an early round OT. I haven't seen that Bell is all we need and I feel Butler isn't as great as many make him out to be and gets injured to much.

I just dont see it happening.
