But Trent is only taking what the defense gives him....

but I agree if we can't get Evans and TO the ball their is something very fundamentally wrong

Tatonka always has good posts, which is annoying because I like arguing about something, I mean come on!

Fine and Schouman probably wouldnt even make some other teams rosters

I don't care what anybody says, you can't double both Lee and T.O. One of them HAS to be open!

of course schouman is our leading receiver. It's the safety of the shouman shield. "Protect your home with the schouman shield"

Trent should do what good QBs do...TAKE. By that I mean make them react to you and not vice versa.

At the time, that was surely a great post. However, Schouman looked pretty good before he got hurt.

Buffalo should incorporate a "Phalanx" type of offense considering just about everyone on the O-line has trouble out in space. Just put Trent in the middle...

I have/had NO-ISSUES w/ Schouman getting soo much love. He was a beast & was very enjoyable to watch. Fine is nowhere near the intensity of Schouman though. So why combine them?
---But yeah, sucks that Fine is even top 3 in any game for us considering the weapons.

----I recall a thread last offseason about me wanting to trade Lee EVans for Anq Boldin or Roy Williams str8 ^. BECAUSE Trent Edwards skill sets matches the skill set of possesion type WR's. See Josh Reed.. So my thinking is that we need a Josh Reed type but waay better. Lee Evans is better suited for a QB w/ savy/poise enough to get him the ball often & frequently. Like ELi Manning or Drew Brees.. Trent needs slower smart WR's who specialize in short crisp routes..
---We know this about Trent. Is tehre anyone left here @ The Zone that Trent isn't a good fit for Evans? I dunno wherre T.O fits into that, but I see Evans doesn't..
---Trent is showing that he is Short passer.

-Is it a coincidence that the poster boy for The WEST COAST OFFENSE is the same person who raved about trent Edwards.. IMO we aren't using Trent right. Err lemmie fix that. We fans aren't dissecting him properly. If he is a WEST COAST TYPE PASSER then that explains why he is stuck in 1st & 2nd gear & not gunslinger mode...My biggest concern is with OBD. They knwo this about Trent & my proof is because i/we know this about Trent. With that said, Why bring in T.O? Who most likely has dissaster written all over it. Esp if it's only gonna piss off everyone as T.O is ignored the same way Lee EVans was last season... WTF is going on!!!!

neither do I.

However, Tatonka pointed out that our TE's have been our BIGGEST weapons thus far, and that's not going to get it done on that side of the ball.

Hey a lot of people said last year we needed to get the tight end involved more. Looks like they are this year......lol

Not necessarily the same thing as the original post that Pat is talking about, but I did a little research on the NO game and how bad Trent really played in my power rankings.
