Nobody really "cares", but it is interesting to see what a player chooses.

no...he can be sent back to the minors after having played 9 games.

Kennedy picked #13 the day he signed from MSU and left school. When players sign, they are assigned numbers. Kennedy was given 58. Gerbe 42. Myers 57. They don't usually wear the number they want until they actually make it. I think it's for superstition. If Myers makes it full time, i believe his number will be 3.

Some players remain with the number they were given. Gerbe will stick with 42 or go with 91. I'm guessing 91.

yuri khymlev was a stud. 13 will be fine for him.

Steve heinz was the only guy that i knew wore 57, for obvious reasons.

Yuri khymleve was a stud? Really? Everybody get's there LW-type post of the year and you just spent yours. He had 63 goals in 254 games with 130 PIM....150 pts total...hardly a stud.
