The "Trent sucks" threads should end after this weekend with Scott at LT and Chambers at RT. Trent should be back from surgery in 2010.

You are telling me that Walker and Runyan are worse than Chmaber and Scott?!

no...they are more expensive...

but seriously, Walker is not coming back...too many sources have him being a locker room problem...notice nobody has signed him? Runyan?? nobody has signed him either but I am putting that on him more than other teams.

Exactly...

Which is why I was calling for Oher at #11 back in Feb

Imagine

Oher Wood Hang Lev Butler (Bell Swing)

Instead we have Maybin on the bench

Thank you OBD

Great point. Especially in light of the fact that everyone knew that this was not a steller DE class.

Does anyone know what Jon Carmen or Tutan Reyes are doing this Sunday? Maybe they could start at tackle for the Bills....

This is absolutely pathetic.

Reminds me of Reuben Brown. He was good for at least 2 holding penalties a game.

I'd rather have a young guy who is talented and learning to avoid penalties than a guy who is not talented enough.

Speaking of Oher, here's one assessment so far:

RT Michael Oher: I can't ask anything more from Oher. He's had his ups and downs, like all rookies, but I'm extremely impressed. He had one of the best debuts for a rookie tackle in recent memory in Week One. He didn't make any mistakes, and really had a perfect game. He came back down to earth in Week Two, allowing a sack, but he was great again in Week Three. I love what I see from him, and he has a chance to be the future left tackle, a position he played a lot at the University of Mississippi.

More on Oher:

It's not that Oher is a dirty player, but he blocks until the whistle blows to end the play.
That doesn't happen a lot in the NFL. Oher plays with a defensive lineman's temperament. He is relentless until it's over. He is a technician who plays with the nastiness of an Orlando Brown.

this makes the signing of Meredith even more of a cheap move, i liked the signing only cause he is like an extra draft pick but now it looks like a cheap move
the fact the Scott is even on the roster is scary and the fact we cut Chambers is scary what was this team evaluating?
can anyone else smell rebuilding?

we've been rebuilding our line since we traded peters

dont forget rebuilding the savings account either
cutting walker rhodes thomas even thou he wasnt making that much he was making more than buggs
all financially based decisions in my opinion
WGR55 had the roundtable on yesterday with hamilton schop and the bulldog sully and simon and white
they were ripping the bills and trying to come up with reasons why we do what we do all of it came down to finances
also why skeletor should still be here and they said maybe they are using him as a scapegoat to rebuild interesting

The only good news is that we will be able to see how Fitzpatrick can do with all these weapons after Trent Edwards gets killed behind the OL.

kind sucks for Marshawn. at least Jackson got one and a half weeks behind the decent ol. Marshawn is pretty much coming back to the same crappy line we played behind last year.

Not on the interior and even if they suck at least they have the mobility to get in someones way at the second level, the old line couldn't even move their fat bodies that far past the line of scrimmage.

Good point! I just hope that Miami didn't watch the gamefilm from last week. Gregg Williams had our rookies confused as hell with all the stunts and all that. :ill:

You can be sure that they have looked at that tape, over and over....:sadwalk: especially the second half!

Oh I can think of a worse Oline...

It involves an injury to Chambers, Scott, or both.

I hope the Bills FO has a plan if that happens. Kinda like a good FF player has a plan for trades he'd like to make in the future to improve his fantasy team.

These guys better have a plan. None of this, "Oh wow, who could have predicted injuries?" BS. You can't predict them, but you can have contingency plans ready.

Chambers is a capable right tackle, the guy protecting Trent's blindside though?? Not so much.
