I'm using fanball.com for a fantasy football league, and they had this blurb in their "newbreakers" section.

THE NEWS
Stuart Schweigert (http://ownersedge.fanball.com/nfl/player/5373) auditioned for the Bills today, according Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post (http://www.nationalfootballpost.com/Source-Bills-work-out-three-defensive-backs.html). The Bills also worked out fellow safeties Todd Johnson and Vernon Fox.
OUR VIEW
None of the aforementioned players would hold much fantasy value if signed by Buffalo for depth in their secondary.

Not too surprising to me, considering their current situation at safety. Although if they sign one of them, it probably signifies that both Whitner and Scott will be out for a couple weeks. Kind of scary, as neither of them were amazing safeties to begin with.

well, I guess id rather have Stuart Schweigert than someone who has never played safety before...though I still think i'd rather have George back there than Stu S.

I would rather have Harris back there than Schweigert.

I'd be surprised if they signed a safety at this point, unless another goes down.

They already have a roster decision to make with Lynch coming off suspended list today.. and another in 3 weeks when Hardy comes off the PUP.

If they do sign someone, it will be short term only.

Those two decisions are easy - Jenkins and McIntyre.

And that is assuming Hardy is ready on week 6. They have 3 weeks to make that decision once he starts practicing.
