BUFFALO (wgrz.com) - Sabres coach Lindy Ruff confirms that defenseman Craig Rivet will remain captain as the team prepares to open the season Saturday night at home against Montreal.
Ruff told 2-On-Your-Side's Adam Benigni that Rivet will again serve as captain, but that we was still undecided on assistant captains as of the end of practice on Thursday.
