Forked from: I'm ready for Gruden (http://www.billszone.com/fanzone/showpost.php?postid=3005094)

I've said from the beginning that out of Schottenheimer, Billick, Cowher, Shanahan, and Gruden, I want Gruden the least. He didn't do a single thing with the Bucs after winning the SB with Dungy's team. Just like Rockstar says, we'll have a QB controversy every single year if Gruden is our HC.
It may be too early in the season, but agreeing with the sentiment that Jauron is NOT the guy, who would you like to see come in?

Cowher is 1st choice then Gruden and then anyone other then someone currently on the team.

I made my choice on who I think could realistically come here that I would want - Billick.

From a realistic standpoint i see Gruden or Billick coming on board... either one i want .... I would love Gruden to come to Buffalo...

Gruden and Billick are probably the only two high profiles that would think to come here. Or Mooch.

The Chin would need alot of money.

Shan would need full authority.

Marty is another that would probably coach here, but I thought he was done.

How about Marty's son?

I can't believe there is a vote for Billick but not one for Shanahan.

I'd vote Cowher then Shanahan and it's a HUGE step down from there. (also... where is Holmgren?)

Billick is the LAST guy I'd want. He's an egomaniac who calls HIMSELF an offensive genius, but in 8 years or so as Ravens coach he NEVER had even and average offense.

He rode the coat tails of Ozzie Newsome and a bunch of excellent DC's to a reputation as a descent coach.

Knowing Ralph he'll cheap out and we'll get stuck with Rich Kotite or Rick Venturi.

I want Cowher but he's going to have his local Carolina Panthers job fall into his lap and will never accept Wilsons modest offer.

Welcome Chuck Lester in 2010.

There isn't a coach there that will take Ralph's standard coaching contract of 800k a year. Not gonna happen.

If we want a proven head coach we the fans are gonna have to come up with the rest of the money to pay the balance of the new guys salary.

So sad, so true.

Almost forgot, I voted for Marty ball as I figured he would require the smallest contract and I really believe he would make a difference in the shortest time. Marty hasn't won alot of playoff games but he always seems to get his teams into the post season.

Cowher- I never been that high on him. He was coaching the steelers for a good 10 years before they won the big one. We dont' have that kind of time :D

It wasn't that long after they got rid of Tom Donawhore that they won though! Too bad he came here.

I doubt we'll see a coach here who even glimpsed winning before. Maybe it will be Alex Van Pelt. Now that would make sense.

I think there is at least one candidate on the Bills staff that is tons better than your choice.

Cowher is the obvious choice, but a long shot to come to Buffalo. Gruden is a pretty interesting choice.

Cowher is above all on my wishlist, followed by the naughty rotten rhymer.
