Byrd was horrible today. Possibly the worst player on the field for the Bills.

WHitner is strong in the running game. Byrd was lost today

we missed Whitner AND scott, as pat said, they are good run support safeties.

Its kinda crazy though, sometimes I dont realize we are missing what seems like half our damn defense...

starting CB
starting MLB
starting FS
starting SS

then our #1 and #2 TE's, RT and LT...


no excuse cuz we just arent good right now but it doesnt help our cause

I did. Byrd and Wilson were putrid out there! We definitely missed our starting safeties. THere's no way that Whitner and Scott would have let the Dolphins run at will on us.

Did you see the running game? Byrd was terrible against the run.

Wilson was adequate, but Byrd for Whitner was a big step down. Huge.

Running wise I missed him a ton, pass coverage wise no not really. Byrd did what the scouting report says on him. He knows how to cover well but he's wasn't a big tackler in college so when we move him to FS where he has to tackle well you're going to see transitional issues. Let's hope he can turn them around.
