McKinney replaced Wood on some plays?

I didn't realize this. Why did McKinney play for Wood at some points? Was Wood playing that badly?

Backup offensive guard Seth McKinney pulled double duty Sunday. He got his first snaps on offense, replacing rookie right guard Eric Wood on a few plays.

It was 90 degrees and we ran a no-huddle. I'm sure he got some breathers on the few long drives.

I haven't been reading CB's chats during the game anymore. Let's hope Wood can stay healthy throughout the season.
