I nominate "It Happens" by Sugarland. (When they sing it... it sounds like they are going to say "**** happens".
Ain't no rhyme or reason
No complicated meaning
Ain't no need to over-think it
Let go, laughing
Life don't go quite like you planned it
We try so hard to understand it
The irrefutable, indisputable fact is
It happens
But it's poor me, why me, oh me, boring
The same old worn out, blah, blah story
There's no good explanation for it at all
Yeah, the irrefutable, indisputable, absoluteable, totally beautiful fact is...pshhhhh, it happens

If we stay with country, Willie Nelson's "The Party's Over" or Kenny Chesney's "A Lot of Things Different" come to mind. Or maybe Ray Price's "For the Good Times."
But if we're not going for nostalgia, the Johnny Cash classic "Dirty Old Egg Suckin' Dog" probably best describes this team.

Ralph Wilson singing "I did it my way"
Ive made some money here some money there and humped the fans up the hershey highway.
Ive fielded mentally challenged quarterbacks, deadbeat coaches and inflicted my team on Torontos skyway
Success I had a few with some guy named Kelly until Norwood missed and fans burned cars on the parkway.
but after all this I still sell season tickets, I did it my way

U2 - Sunday Bloody Sunday
"I cant believe the news today
Oh, I cant close my eyes and make it go away
How long...
How long must we sing this song?
How long? how long...
Sunday, Bloody Sunday....
Sunday Bloody Sunday...."

By Linda Ronstadt, Warren Zevon and more recently Terri Clark...
Poor Poor Pitiful Me
Well, I lay my head on the railroad track
Waitin' on the "double e"
But the train don't run through here no more
Poor, poor pitiful me!
