...should have drafted Patrick Willis instead of Lynch? Just curious what you guys think. Woulda, shoulda, coulda, of course, but it's better than another Trent thread.

I'm OK with the Lynch pick. We needed an RB at the time and we had no idea Jackson would turn out to be good.

As far as LB, the correct move would have been keeping Fletcher, moving Poz to the outside and benching Ellison.

We didn't even have the choice. Willis went one spot before Lynch...

True, but I dunno, I figured since they needed to address both positions, and since Willis was the #1 LB, perhaps they could've made something happen to move up one pick.

I'm grasping I guess.

...Woulda, shoulda, coulda,

Excatly... Shoulda, Woulda, Coulda ... Done a lot of **** to build a solid team in the prime positions on both sides of the ball. Think of what could of and should of been done over the past 4 - 6 years... We should be deep in the play offs with the picks we have had....

I'm Just Sayin.... :whistling

I didn't know that drafting guys that weren't available was even an option. If that's the case, why not just draft Adrian Peterson in 2007 instead.

we were going to draft Patrick Willis if he fell to us but he didnt. A team with many holes doesnt trade away multiple picks just to move up a few spots.
