All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!

The report I read in the Buffalo news said that Darcy impressed enough in his interview for the position that he is being given a shot to show that he can perform the job well under the new management. He is on a very close watch though.
It also said that Ruff wasn't overly happy with some of the line up he was given to work with last season so watch for player changes to follow before the start of the new one, maybe even some big surprises. From Ruff I fear the worst on cutting/trading players... :-(
Hockey is not a matter of life and death, it's much more important than that.
There's something to be said for cleaning house and starting fresh.
These guys will be under pressure to show that they can deliver the necessary fresh start despite being the leftover icons of the prior regime. Ruff has the added pressure of knowing that the team's veterans have tuned out his methods after 6+ years.
Tough spot to be in for both guys.
Argue like hell. Keep it clean. And when it's over, shake hands and root for our team!
No surprise concerning Lindy Ruff .. its hard to justify firing the winningest coach in team history. I dont condone it, I was hoping for a fresh start. Regier on the other hand is a surprise. I thought he was a goner.
