Demetrius Bell is back on the practice field today. He's the only one of last week's injured players back on the field today

He's a definite upgrade over Scott at LT, and Scott is a definite upgrade over Chambers at RT.

I DEFINITELY prefer Bell/Scott as our starting tackles over Scott/Chambers.

this should be a pretty good line by the time the next coach gets his hands on it

This is great news. Chambers killed us on 4 drives.

The Browns suck, so the Bills should win. But it wouldn't surprise me if they lose. I'm still trying to picture the 12th man cheering them on. They may have to take some happy pills to get in the mood.

Absolutely. Besides Bell's mental miscues, the line was definitely playing better before Bell went out.

honest question:
if bell isn't 100%, is there a reason to bring him back and risk long term injury to him?

This year is already a waste but on the other hand experience is experience for a guy who has made a lot of mental errors. I don't know, i'm torn.

Well, it's not like we're risking losing Orlando Pace for the rest of the year, if he gets injured for the year, well at least we know we'll be needing a new LT next year.

i guess the point being, if Bell is close but not 100% better, shouldn't he just sit this browns game and get back to 100% the following week? Winning this game or losing this game doesn't get us out of the cellar of the East. So the whole "we need this for the playoffs" is a bit of a lie. We are back to complicated scenarios to be a playoff team. And it's week 5.

Could always just rotate him for most of the game, see how he does with that kind of a workload. If it gets to be too much, shut him down.

Don't worry, Beth. The 12th man will get plenty happy during the tailgate.
