Just trying to get myself ready when the cheap alternative is given the keys...

For as much as people hate Dick and want to see him gone, he's still good for at least 7 wins a year. There's an endless list of guys that could consistently deliver much much worse year in and year out. So don't worry. I'm sure we"ll interview a good handful of them.

Mangini is worse, but thankfully he has a job (currently) Jim Haslett also would be another Jauron.

This is so funny! I am bored and googled "Worst nfl coaches ever" and one of the articles i found is below( is from 2006 but still too funny)

http://www.betus.com/sports-betting/nfl-football/articles/nfl-2006-preview-the-5-worst-nfl-coaches/

And No.1: Dick Jauron, Buffalo Bills
Mr. Jauron will be entering his seventh year as head coach of an NFL team (http://www.betus.com/sports-betting/nfl-football/teams/), and he had one outstanding year with the Chicago Bears in 2001 when he lead them to a 13-3 record, although they lost their playoff game. Take a guess at what his record was in the other five years… a brutal 23-45, which is far and away the worst record that any of the present head coaches have. That alone… makes Mr. Jauron the worst head coach in the NFL.

I used to love when then the Bills played the Jets, I swear Jauron and Mangini have starring contests during the games.

They just stand there and do nothing. Mangini with his hands on his hips. Mangini would make me break my TV.

Whoohoo, we get to see them in a stare off this week.

Chan Gailey, Al Grohl, and that guy who coached Detroit last year. Forgot his name already.

Jim Kelly would be worse. But I heard his capacity with the Bills wouldn't be in coaching.

Marv Levy at this point would be worse. Ted Cottrell would be worse.

Wade Philips will be availble after this season as the Cowboys continue to tank.

He's also the last coach that took this team to the playoffs. So worse? I'm not sure.

There are too many solid coaches availble out there to be had. But, as we all know, the Bills prefer to do things the hard way. They'll pick up some toss away coach or sign an unproven nobody.

I'm not sure what you mean. He's been here 3 years, and he's had 3 straight 7 win seasons.

Bobby April. He will either be great or just a HUGE bust. But Ralph is probably going to hire him.

I'll be honest, I feel like April has the desire and the ingenuity to be a solid coach in the NFL. He has shown that he takes some risks, he can think outside the box, and just seems to show some actual passion, something that Dick sorely lacked.
