New Mottos for #399 Auburn NY:

'Nationally Ranked Sports Teams!"

"One of the Top 400 Sport Cities In America!"

"Our Libraries Rock!"

"Auburn...So much more then sports!"

"Come for our sports team...then keep driving!"

"Baldwinsville has got nothing on our sports teams!"

The cover of this SN issue makes me want to puke!

Either that or put it in a urinal at a Sabres game.

We only have 2 major teams and no big time college. I don't think it is rating fan passion.

Also looking at past top cities they rate based on success. Boston last year. Stinkin' pitt has 2 champs so they are #1 this year.

If the Bills and Sabres ever won...wait nevermind.

I got this issue yesterday.

Of course the feature Big Ben (understandable) and Sidney Crosby on the cover.

Of course, Crosby might be the 3rd best player in the NHL, but is not even the best player on his team.

Rochester, NY is # 267, after powerhouses like Albany (140), Binghampton (161), Stony Brook (189), and Poughkeepsie (207). what a joke.

Take it from an Auburn resident, this is not a sports city. Unless you count Nascar bars and people that don't work.

I find it hilarious that it is considered a "city" much less one of the top 400 sports cities in America.

Raise those ticket prices to the league average and that "passion" will take a nose dive.
