If I were the Bills, I would Begin Stock Pilling PIcs NOW... Trade Everyone worth Value and Start all Over! Then Bring in a GOOD GM with a proven track record, a good coach, and let them use and develop those pics and if they choose well, and coach well we will be a contender in 3yrs. Think of the 1990 Cowboys, from 1-15 to Superbowl in 2 seasons.
Here is who I would trade:
Lynch3, Evens2, TO3, Edwards2, Stroud3, Schobel2, Kelsey5, McGee2, Parish6, Reed4, Jackson2, POz3, Mitchel5, Whitner3
So then we will have:
1 round: 1
2nd round:6
3rd round:6
4th round:2
5th round:2
6th round:2
I think there is a maximum # pics a team can have all together. We can then trade some of our 2nds for 1sts next year and so on... 13pics in 1st 3 rounds would be amazing if we had a good GM and scouting dept. Think about it!

yup, trade the team away. Whats the problem, its not like they are good. We would not be blowing up a contender. Actually, we are not even blowing up a pretender. We would be blowing up one of the worst teams -over the last 10years- in the NFL.

These pics, in the right hands, can do wonders ala the Cowboys of the early 1990's. Anyway, the question is what would you do?

I would definitely trade TO, and even Schobel.
You could get picks for those two right now from a contender.
They are both on their last legs so they won't be here long term.
You can put Maybin in Schobels spot today and go with it.

No way. This is when you eye key veterans who fit the build of your team, look at the moves the Raiders and the Jets made they're perfect examples. The Jets knew they needed a WR to round out the offense so they made a move for a guy who's contract is coming up... same thing with the Raiders going after Seymour. Those are the type of moves to make to get you over the hump.

Sorry buddy but the Bills are going nowhere this year. This is exactly when you dump the old vets and get some return. The Pats have been doing it for a decade.
By the time this team is ready to win TO and Schobel will be ready to retire.

I think some of you hit the nail on the head!!!
By the time we are competitive, players like Schobel and TO will be on the down slope of their career, or not even with us. We have to start thinking of trading them to a Team that Needs them Right Now, they will give us a decent return. Lets not fool ourselves, we are not going anyway this year, best thing to do is get as many pics as possible for the regime. Let them build us through the draft!
