Buffalo Bills head coach Dick Jauron and team owner Ralph C. Wilson Jr. agreed to terms for the head coach’s resignation . The resignation is effective immediately following the Cleveland Brown game Sunday October 11th at RCW Stadium. Sources close to the team report the players were notified this morning by e-mail, phone call, and in person. The meeting between Mr. Wilson and Coach Jauron was conducted Monday evening at an undisclosed location, however, it is believed to have been a video conference with only Mr. Wilson, Mr. Jauron, and Russ Brandon in attendance. According to reports from close sources, Jauron will receive the remainder of his 2009 salary. A replacement coach has yet to be announced, however, several players have admitted they spoke to a well known coach that “wears the ring”. The ring is commonly known throughout the NFL players union as the Super Bowl Championship ring. Two possible replacement coaches who were both observed at the Buffalo-Niagara Airport Monday are the likely candidates. National Television network analysts Brian Billick and Jon Gruden arrived at individual times and were swiftly escorted to awaiting limousines. Sources close to the team report the Bills will be announcing a press conference for later this afternoon, or in the early evening following network news programming.
