If you noticed during one of the Buffalo PP's last game, Myers intentionally shot the puck wide to get the bounce off the boards..and it almost worked. Smart play by a rookie.

it reminded me of that bubble hockey game when you smack it against the end boards to pass it to the center and whamo goooal

Exactly....the kid seems to have "it"! Man, I really like how this kid plays!

He impresses me more and more with each game. I don't know how to feel. I just have to hope the sabres don't mess up his gifts.

I'm with you...he looks very good...but I, like you, are worried that Lindy will screw him up. The kid is a big time talent!

why would the sabres screw him up, esp lindy??

i mean i cant believe this kids instincts. so far he looks likes hes been in the league for five years. just amazing

im glad lindy is here to help bring him along. and i cant see any reason why the rest of the team would hamper him

It's more Lindy's history of playing the vets more, but that hasn't been the case in the first 2 games...he's played the kid a ton. Myers just looks so calm and cool out there and never panics...he's very strong on the puck. I'm excited to watch this kid develop.
