You know, this is the epitome of why the Bills have been ****ty for so long. The "captain" of the team after thumb surgery is farting around playing video games. Unless it's part of his therapy, he should be resting it and trying to get back to play ASAP. You think the Pats or the Colts would put up with that? You think Bill Parcells would stand for that?

I had a similar injury in 8th grade, and yes playing video games was recommended to me by the dr. as a good way to regain range of motion.Now you see that evil will always triumph, because good is dumb.

One small example: Haloti Ngata is a DT drafted the same year as Whitner. Going into this season, he had the same number of INT's and MORE passes defensed than Whitner.

ummm, I'm pretty sure that NFL football is more hazardous to a recovering thumb than pushing buttons on a video game controller.
