Two easy concepts.
1) You get what you paid for.
2) If you do what you always have done, you get what you always have got.
Some of us pointed to our crappy backups at LB among other areas. Did we add anything of worth outside of Harris? Isnt this the team thats starting Porcel-uzny and has started Ellison for the 3rd year in a row? No need to upgrade or sign insurance... See #1, and as far as Ellison... see #2.
Didnt want to pay for Peters. OK. And didnt want to add anyone of immediate worth on the OL? OK, see #1 and see#2.
Didnt get a SB winning HC. Ok, see #1... and see #2.
Its easy we suck because we make ourselves suck.
I will help you with the next huge mistake. It will be at HC after we fire Jauron. We wont get a guy with a SB ring, even though there are plenty out there. We will get some retread HC like Norv Turner, or some tool who has never been a HC like the next pile of Mularkey.
If we were smart, we would lockup one of the top guys before the season ends so that we dont have to compete.
But whoever said we were smart?
