What positive does keeping Jauron have?

    Seriously.

What is there to gain with Dick staying on for the rest of the season?

You can't really use the "continuity" argument. This team can't get worse.

Nor can you claim money is the reason. That would imply that Dick will be here for the next couple years to fulfill his contract. Plus, you could argue that the money lost to Dick would have been lost anyway due to lost revenue as fans turn their backs on this team.

A change now would offer hope, if nothing else. Hope for fans and for players.

A change now would also start the healing process. This team is emotionally beaten. Start changing that attitude now. Maybe by season's end and going into the offseason there may be a bright spot to hang our off-season hats on. Something to look forward to going into the off-season.

Furthermore, we can hand pick the replacement NOW, with little competition. The NFL is looking at an all-time high in HC vacancies this coming off-season. Buffalo does not want to be competing with other cities for the best coaches available. Most other situations are going to be more interesting than the mess left in Orchard Park.

I see absolutely no reason why the change is not made this week.

Still searching for that offensive rhythm.

There is no good reason not to fire him this week. That's why Ralph won't do it.
