    We deserve better than this.

Buffalo and the region surrounding it is as economically depressed as any other part of the country. Personally, I have many family members from here who are educated people with years of experience that cannot find employment since being laid off. Times are tough, and people are making due with less and less.

However, for a couple of Sundays every fall and early winter 70,000+ go to Orchard Park and put down good money to watch OUR Bills. I know it's Ralph's team, but we've invested time, money, and passion in this team. It's become a way of life and traditions that friends and family attend the games year in and year out.

I know teams go through ups and downs. Players get older, move on to different teams. They have to rebuild through the draft, through free agency, have their younger players develop into solid starters, etc. But year in and year out, this team drafts poorly, let's their top talent get away because they don't want to pay them what other teams will, and generally drafts poorly.

I think it all starts at the top, with Ralph. Ralph doesn't want to pay the top players, coaches, GMs, scouts, etc. He has made millions on the Bills throughout his lifetime and yet cries poor. He gave away one of our Sundays a year to Toronto, yet still we don't see the money go into the team, just into Ralph's pocket.

But we can't just stop going to the games. We don't want to, either. We love our Bills. Not going to the games would also give fuel to the relocation fire. So, we're in a way held hostage.

We really do deserve better than this. Ralph needs to give us, the loyal fans whom he's gotten filthy rich on, some sort of reward or something to look forward to.

Even casinos, that take your money for nothing in return if only to be entertained for a few hours, gives you "comps."
