i mean how does a guy step of the drafting platform and play nhl games like hes been there ten years? my hockey brain says that doesnt even make sense. unless of course its a budding superstar

for the kinds of moves and plays he makes hes committing extremely few errors and so far hasnt been undressed at all

tonite he made one mistake i noticed when he tried to squeeze past a forechecker inside his own blue line and lost the puck. looked like he underestimated the forecheckers ability to change direction and got caught along the boards where a forward had to bail him out. but considering how many other times he is successful on moves like that its pretty astounding actually

its like the nhl is just another set of guys. like he can just dial himself up to this level or something. kinda mind bottling
