One day after it was unveiled, a Thurman Thomas tree carving was stolen stolen from the Erie Community College parking lot, across from gate four at Ralph Wilson Stadium.

The carving was created from a tree damaged during the historic October storm of 2006. It was the 34th carving unveiled by "Carvings for a Cause."

Therese Forton runs Carvings for a Cause. She tells Two On Your Side, the carving was likely stolen on Sunday night. She received word of the theft around 8:30 p.m.

To be quite honest, I could give two ****s about the statue. The only thing I care about is firing Dick and getting this team to win a damn football game.

i saw the pool of blood where it happened. not very cool at all. i saw them putting the people on strecthers. cops were all freaking out. whoever this guy is should be shot. i guess he was dealing drugs at the time too.

As i was passing out in the back seat i saw a chopper. I guess it was some 19 year old kid who was drunk. What a freaking *******. He'll rot in jail.

Hasn't everybody nearly gotten clipped by a car at RWS??? It's what happens when people don't know what their limit is or don't have a DD.

yeah, i was the DD yesterday, we got caught up in 3 accidents. it was pretty ridiculous what saw i happening around me. although i've never seen it as bad as it was yesterday. some people must have no shame. i can see how people get hit. i was idling through traffic and people are jumping through cars like gazelles trying to get away from a lion. i didn't get it. there are places for crowds of people to pass. why would anyone think it's worth it not to just walk a couple more blocks and pass safely?
