Anyone know any LB's worth a damn out there? Derrick Brooks comes to mind, but I highly doubt he comes to Buffalo. He said in an interview that he had offers but they weren't the right fit for him. I highly doubt Buffalo seems like a good fit for anybody right now.

Who needs to go outside the organization? After reading this forum the last several weeks, i thought Marcus Freeman was like the next coming..... ? lol

Who cares really?

There's no one who can make any lick of difference now. and even if we get someone it'll be some ST player on some other practice squad.

Then Dick will be telling us how great Ellison is in the middle and how they really like Corto and Palmer outside...

T-Long

Probably going to have Ellison manning the middle until Posz gets back, then Ellison moves back and Palmer stays in.

Best thing to do is put Maybin at ROLB, Ellison at left, and Freeman at MLB and then activate Ellis. But our CS isnt that smart.

throw Maybin at MLB and let him blitz.

Why, Maybins better suited for LB and Freeman needs a chance at MLB and is our only healthy MLB on our team. It also gives Ellis a chance to play

No, he wants to play on the bills, we're not the bills.

Darryl Talley.

I saw Talley at the Bucs game, he didn't look too bad. Maybe . . .

Henry Jones looked like he could still play and would have to be better then some of the other safety options at this point.

I never really thought this as a possiblity, but its getting to the point where we really may have to start 5 on the DL and go with 2 LB. At least it would be something new.

LB in a 3-4 alignment not a 4-3, and Freeman is a OLB not a MLB.

That doesn't help us any though.... They go jumbo package and its a RB v. CB on the outside with a nice seal block...Ill take that matchup all day.

What else are you going to do?

I'll take my chances with the RB vs CB instead of having my crappy LB's get their asses kicked by the OL.

Bring up Freeman and maybe sign another LB and see what happens.

Ellison has limited exp there and has played extremely well this season and Poz is supposed to be back next week.

Ellison has been very good. Don't let the stigma stick he has really turned his game on.

No, no he hasn't. He's made a ton of tackles down the field...he has done nothing spectactular and he can't cover an old lady.

No no no, yes he has been very good. He's also made plays at the line sideline from sideline, and behind the line of scrimmage.

I have no idea what you are watching...he's brutal, get's run over (engulfed by blockers, can't get off of them) and can't cover worth s**t!

No I really don't think I am. Im not on any guys jock, but I also don't just go with how a guy used to play. Ellison has greatly improved this year. You don't have to agree with me.

Ellison sucked last year. So did Kelsay.

Neither do this year and both have played quite well.

And I wanted both gone, or at least on the bench.

Ellison has made a number of plays behind the los too, including more than one 4th down stop.

That being said, him being inside scares me.

Ellison's avg ypt last game...3.8

9 total stops (really 10 but one was negated on a ST penalty which was a stop for 0 yards). He made 1 stop for a loss and only 3 tackles were made behind where he lines up (4-5 yards off the l.o.s).
