Someone suggested going in that the football (ahem) competition that took place here Sunday should be called the Misery Loves Company Bowl.
Well, there is no doubt that the Buffalo Bills and Cleveland Browns deserve each other. But, come on, what's to love about either of these miserable operations? They are eerily and Erie-ly similar, sharing proximity in utter ineptitude as well as the Great Lake of that name.
In the end, they finished merely three points apart. But the 6-3 score in favour of the previously winless Browns (now 1-4, same as the Bills), hardly reflects a piece of entertainment that kept anyone on the edge of their seats (many of which were empty as Bills fans seem to be abandoning ship and who can blame them?).
