Missing Thurman Thomas statue apparently in Canada

A missing half-ton chain saw carving of former Buffalo Bills running back Thurman Thomas is apparently in Canada.

The 8 1/2-foot statue disappeared from a parking lot across from Ralph Wilson stadium sometime after Sunday's Bills game against the Browns.

Orchard Park police say an Ontario man called the organization that owns the carving on Tuesday, saying he and some friends rescued it after seeing people trying to burn it.

Duh....maybe those trying to burn it took it to Canada and the others saw them. Nowhere does it say they rescued it and took it to Canada

think about it:

- there have been several reports here that all the cops rushed to the jeep chase, as in dropped everything and bolted there

- the purps hit the golf cart then dragged an officer right in the original grass lot

- that means there was probably an officer down call, which sorta puts cops into a hyper all hands on deck mode

- frankly, when i first heard these multiple reports of cops bolting it sorta concerned me for the very fact that it leaves other areas vulnerable. seemed to me EVERY cop doesnt have to head to the scene of the crime

- so the moral is if you want to rip off ralph stadium just send a jeep barrelling down southwestern and you can stroll right in

- oh wait, no the moral of this story is that the thurmal statue was stolen precisely because all the cops on that side raced toward the jeep incident

I heard some where that they declared it, and were passed right through. And the bastards (the theives, or the rescuers?) allegedly burned Thurman's wooden face.
