To this point in 2009, Buffalo's has been the kind of offense that makes you contemplate man's inhumanity to man. They are 25th in the league in yards per game, 26th in points per game, 28th in third-down conversions, 29th in first downs and 31st in time of possession. All of this in spite of an array of skill-position talent that includes Terrell Owens (http://nfl.fanhouse.com/players/terrell-owens/3664), Lee Evans (http://nfl.fanhouse.com/players/lee-evans/6772), Fred Jackson (http://nfl.fanhouse.com/players/fred-jackson/8063) and, for the last two games, Marshawn Lynch (http://nfl.fanhouse.com/players/marshawn-lynch/8266). A group like that should be able to move the ball and score, but it can't. And while it's easy to lay it all at the feet of the unimaginative Jauron or "Captain Checkdown" QB Trent Edwards (http://nfl.fanhouse.com/players/trent-edwards/8346), the big problem with the Bills is the five great big guys up front. With an offensive line like this, how can they possibly be good?

I figured we'd be an 8 - 8 because we had no line. These front office people still haven't figured out that you can have the greatest skill positions in the world but with no line you can't use them.

I'm sorry, I can't give Trent and Dick a free pass by blaming the O-line for virtually all of our problems. I have DirecTV's Sunday Ticket, so I watch several games per week. I've seen many QBs under intense pressure, and many of them have performed admirably.

Better playcalling and good QB play can at least partially overcome weak O-line play. We have neither.

The thing that perplexes me about Edwards is he did a great job at QB the first two weeks of the season. Its like he is a totally different QB. We see his ability but mentally he is a different person and I am not sure he has the mental makeup to be a QB in this league.

I called 5 wins before the season, now I'm not so sure.

as did I. AFter these last two games, i honestly don't see another spot on the schedule for a win. Some of the bad teams we play haven't laid eggs against other bad teams.

1-15...Thank god for the bucs.

I think the most frustrating thing is everyone but Wilson and Levy felt Jauron should of been fired at the end of last year. Due to Ralph being so cheap and not have to eat Jauron's contract he gave him another year. Everyone was hoping a miracle would happen and Jauron could right the ship but realistically everyone knew this would be a wasted year due to bringing him back.
Four weeks into the season Bills fans fears that this will be another wasted year came to fruition.

I'm already looking at scouting reports and mock drafts.

This team needs an offensive minded head coach and a good DC.

It needs new leadership at the top.

I know Ralph won't do it, but this team needs a guy like Holmgren to come in and take over. That would require Ralph to back off. Not likely, but I wish...

a very wise man once said that you could start five future hof-ers on the oline and if they had never been the starter at that position before they will struggle

you cant change the laws of nfl physics just because we want them to (his words not mine)
