This week's installment of One Fan's View is ready for your reading pleasure:
Somehow I now envision Ralph Wilson being Vizzini from the Princess Bride. I can see him sitting in the box watching 9 false start penalties and screaming, “inconceivable”. I can see the punt unit trot out for a 4th and 1 in a close game and hear, “inconceivable.” Let’s be honest, there is a lot that is inconceivable and we’ve already been subjected to 8 years of pathetic football.
I can see the boat scene between Vizzini, Fezzik and Inigo played out with Ralph, Brandon, and Jauron.
Jauron: You never said anything about throwing away a season.
Wilson: I’ve hired you to help me sell this doddering team. It’s a prestigious line of work, with a long and glorious tradition.
Jauron: I just don’t think it’s right, killing a perfectly viable fanbase
Wilson: am I going MAD or did the word “think” escape your lips? You were not hired for your brains, you underachieving coach.
Brandon: I agree with Jauron...
