Buffalo is what Holmgren wants in his next job.

he said, 'I'd really love to try the East Coast. That brand of football where you wake up on Sunday morning and it's the most important thing. There aren't 800 things to do.

It is a wonderfull thought. Would love to have him. He is gonna want alot of control and here is the deal breaker. He is gonna want to be paid extremely well.
    The Polian Curse

"They're a very special group of men. Cherish them, you will not see their like again."

Interesting. I think this puts Washington as front runners though but good find.

Washington would be looking at Gruden, Shanahan or Holmgren. It's hard to tell who they're main guy is, considering the different reports and rumours.

I don't think Holmgren would ever work for Danny Snyder. Holmgren wouldn't put up with Snyder and his meddling.

But the idea working with unlimited money in a football town..... making a big paycheck, could make anyone work with anyone. If Snyder truly wants to add a Shanahan, Gruden or a Holmgren, he's going to need to change a bit himself.

He already had that (to a point) in Seattle. Money was never an issue and Seattle, while not a rabid east coast football city, has a pretty solid fan base. I think he is looking for more than that in his next gig.

Who knows, he could take the job, but I would be surprised. It just doesn't seem like a good fit.

                      its actually a great fit.

A young qb with potential in his west coast offense.

A young and good offensive line.

A capable defense that is a linebacker and defensive tackle away from being excellent.

a basket of young and capable receivers who fit his mold of offense.

an insane fan base that is hungry for a winner.

I think holmgren con=mes to buffalo. Ralph wants to win before he dies. To do that he needs a coach and gm. he gets both of those in Holmgren.

Shanahan is a lock in Washington.

I was referring to him not fitting in Washington.

If we had an owner who would actually spend money to hire a good coach, he would be a good fit here.
