It all comes down to coaching here. Why in gods name would you ever try to teach this offense the no huddle with the shape that the offensive line was in. Thats why I think the only smart move Jauron ever made was getting rid of Schonert who was a bigger dope than he was. Then he followed it up with a dumber move by not scrapping the no huddle. That is the kind of guy he is.One step forward-two steps back.Why would you fire the guy responsible for the offense that you didnt like in preseason and then keep the scheme he installed????????
That no-huddle should have been scrapped right after that. Instead, they continue to force feed it to an offense that has no experience in the NFL let alone running K-Gun with an offensive cordinator who has less experience than they guy you just fired. Like teaching Algabra to a five year old.
Thats why Jauron is the problem (END OF STORY). Lay off the old man he is freaking ninety for god's sake. He was merely taking the advice of his confidant Marv Levy. The real problem here. The guy decided to take the most important job in the organization and then up and left you two years in. Thanks Marv you idiot.
There is only one team running it-Indy. Manning has had Saturday and that line forever with expereince coming out of his shorts. He has a super bowl ring under his belt not to mention the cmofort of playing in that sand box stadium where they can make less noise than a library and not weather conditions to speak of for eight games.
Give this kid a chance in a situation in which he can succeed. What are the alternatives??? I cant beleive someone mentioned Brady Quinn.
